Our History
Kenwa Mabuni synthesized the Shuri-te and Naha-te traditions of Okinawan karate into Shito-Ryu. In 1948, Tani Sensei founded Shukokai — "way for all" — as a branch of Shito-Ryu refined around scientific biomechanics.
